Burkart Insurance Agency was founded by Alex Burkart and George Burkart in 1928. Jim Burkart joined the Agency after serving in the Marines in the Pacific during WWII.

Prior to joining the Agency in early 1970's President Jack Burkart gained valuable experience first as an underwriter and also as the Midwest Regional Group Representative for North American Life in Chicago. Jack has served as the past President of the Sheboygan County Independant Insurance Agents.

Carol Buchholz, Agency Corporate Secretary, has over 30 years of service with the Agency. Paul Gamoke and Cindy Ditter been instrumental in developing the personal programs for the Agency's Clients.

In addition, the Agency's Customer Service team received ongoing praise for their fine customer relations.

In 1990 Burkart Insurance expanded their offices and moved to their current location at 118 Stafford Street in the historic area of downtown Plymouth. The Agency's state of the art computer, phone and fax system assures the high level of service our clients expect.

The Agency prides itself as a locally owned and managed Independent Insurance Agency. Burkart Insurance Agency is a member in good standing at both the State and National Independent Agents of America.
